Photo of Edith Eglin H’52 ’65 ’66 ’67 GP’19Edith Eglin’s connections to Lawrenceville are deep and run through many channels: long-time faculty spouse, tireless volunteer, trustee and trustee emerita, grandparent, and beloved honorary alumna. Not least of those connections is her financial legacy, via a charitable remainder trust, that combines retirement income for her and future benefits for the School.

“I first visited Lawrenceville in 1952—coming to a tea dance in Raymond House and being awestruck by the new Lavino Field House. Ten years later, I was back—living on campus, married to a faculty member with two little girls! I found Lawrenceville then and find it now imbued with a constant striving for excellence. Head Master Bruce McClellan described the life of the School as ‘a colleagueship warmly shared,’ and so it continues to be.”
